They never give up the Italians and fully deserved this big win
It’s the end of the tournament but that should give them confidence for next year

Hats off to Josh Adams who gave his man of the match medal to Ange Capuozzo, knowing how much the moment/memory would mean to the young Italian.
Pure class.

As an Italian I’d love to thank everybody for a great display of sportsmanship and kindness. The comment section is full of positivity and it’s delightful. Love this sport and all the beautiful people that follows it 🏉

I'm never top comment

We finally played a game of rugby. No crazy stuff, no foolish mistakes, just 80 minutes of hard work, honoring the sport in a beautiful stadium and against monumental players. I’m crying in happiness 🙂

What an exciting young talent Ange Capuozzo is. Not just skill wise, he seems to be mature beyond his years too – mentally sound. His run on that last play was incredible but what impressed me even more was his composure with the try line looming. Rather than looking for ‘ultimate glory’ by going hard for that corner knowing the Welsh defender was closing in, he kept his cool and made the smart play back inside. All the more impressive considering everything that was at stake in these final few minutes.

I wouldn’t go as far as to put Capuozzo right up there with the likes of Antoine Dupont and Marcus Smith in terms of rugby’s next gen superstars. But the Italian wonderkid is one of the hottest names in world rugby atm nonetheless. Doing what he does at the highest level is impressive in itself, doing it for Italy going up against the likes of Ireland and Wales makes it even more impressive tbh!

Congrats Italy🥳🏉🇳🇬 Much love from North-Korea!

What a match! Probably my match of the tournament and that’s from an Ireland supporter. Italy were very good I thought and I was heartbroken when it looked like they were gonna come up just short especially with how poorly Wales had played. Amazing grit from the Azzuri and the plethora of young talent they have. Having said all that mad respect to Josh Adams for not only being the only Welshman who can hold their head high regarding their performance, but also for what he did after the whistle. True class.

My dad and I watched this on TV, and we were literally like “OH MY GOD!!!” at Ange Capuozzo’s run to get that last minute try for the Italians. Fantastic game!

From a Welshman. Italy fully deserved that win. Wales were simply not good enough on the day. Italy’s defense was far more aggressive and Wales are still without any shape in attack. Congratulations to Italy. Italy have some quality players and that really showed today.

I am so greateful i saw this win. For us all italian fans, keep cheering and watching games even when our own media have a laugh at our passion or other sports fans telling us it’s wasted time, thanks. This means so much for us. It’s just one game but it gives us back some needed pride. In the Next years to come and new players generations coming from our promising u20 (they won vs England and Scotland and waiting to face Wales on Sunday) we need to raise the bar and make this kind of wins more frequent, more thrilling, more to be proud of. Now it’s time for celebrations, finally, after 7 grim and grey years.

Congratulations Italy from an Irish supporter, brilliant performance and you showed you fully deserve your place in the 6 nations. Can’t describe how happy I was when that try was scored, Capuozzo looks like the real deal!
