I’m no Aussie fan by usual standards as I am a kiwi myself, but seeing what it meant to the boys after they won was heart warming. This can only be a positive step in the right direction for them!

Quade will get a lot of plaudits and rightly so, but don’t underestimate how much of an impact to an opposition Samu Karevi is, he’s Manu Tuilagi of this Aus side, gives them so many options and makes the defence so hesitant and out of shape.

would it be possible to release extended highlights sometimes ? I don’t have access to any of the channels and I feel like there were plenty of moments I didn’t see

I knew Quade was going to make a stretch comeback in his career. I’ve always had faith in him, hes a lot humble now but man I respect him a lot. Quade cooper fan but all blacks all day!!! Good win Australia, boks will come back stronger next time!!!

With Quade Cooper in the team, Australia were always going to win, lose or draw. It really is that simple.

In light of Quade’s years of playing in the for the gold and green, I find it strange that they still deny him Australian citizenship…

Kiwi here, I’m so chuffed that Aussie got the win, well played! Hooper is in my top 10 players, and Callaway is a freak of nature. I prefer the aussie commentary too.

Wow now

I stayed up till early Monday morning to witness an amazing game ”Congrats Aussie” much deserved win so happy that all that hard work and belief that you could win had paid off much respect from a true blue All Blacks supporter xx

So good to see Quade Cooper step up. Take a bow mate, glad to see you back in the green and gold. What a good game and finished with the right team winning.

Good thing i like about the aussies…when they get a good kicking like the AB’s gave them, they come back harder! Do it again next week aussie and we might see you at the final. SA and ARG were hard to watch tbh but i dont feel sorry for no-one. SA have the crown but the AB’s will smash it off them….SOON!

Definitely meant alot for the Wallabies to win and Quade Cooper the prodigal son getting all of his kicks on target unlike Handre Pollard his opposite.

Totally different story if that was Lolesio.

Kudos to the Aussie scrum especially the front row for getting that last penalty. Imagine how painful that is for the Saffa’s front row.

Congratulations from NZ. As an AB’s fan I hope the Wallabies return to being a rugby powerhouse again. A strong Wallabies side will also benefit the AB’s. To be the best we need to play against the best.

As a kiwi fan, thought it was a great test match,Quade gave them obvious control,I thought the Bokke looked jaded…….Quade,Hooper, karevi,Bell and Alaalatoa outstanding.

Cooper’s ice cold but Hooper is super human. He’s played over a 100 tests and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. He’s everywhere on the pitch and is so strong despite not being that big a man and he’ll never shy away from anyone

Yeah Definitely

Taniela Tupou’s reaction at the end is like finding out that his side chick isn’t pregnant lol

I was never a big fan of QC. But I am impressed by his reborn persona. He has grown as a man and as a player. It was evident on field. Composed, professional and a great inspiration to young players wanting to play for their country. This is a great Fay for Australian rugby. I suspect that Rennie bring Quade I to the squad was a master stroke in coaching style. Bring it on next Saturday. If the wallabies win again it says a lot for WC fatigue for SA

Awesome win Wallabies. I’m still perplexed about Springboks rugby. That squad is full of talent meanwhile they’re kicking the ball away like is a AFL game. The likes of H.Pollard, Am and Willie can play running rugby especially with that forward pack they have. Wallabies will win again. Meanwhile the All Blacks is on a different level as always.

This is great for the game of rugby.
I mean just to see Australia’s reaction shows what it really means not only to Australian rugby but world rugby. Quade you look better than ever and your performance just shows where you are at. Awesome win wallabies you thoroughly deserved that win oh I’m kiwi by the way

I used to despise Quade a decade ago.
He’s made a legendary and humble come back, and I hope he has all the success in the world in the upcoming years. What an amazing game.

As a Kiwi all I can say is that if there is one player in world rugby that deserves to be on the winners podium more often in my humble opinion it would be Michael Hooper. Well played the boys in gold..ANZACS all day!

As a Bok fan i must say that we underestimated the wallabies, the players made too many mistakes which costed us in the end. All in all the wallabies were the better side of the day so congrats to them

Great win for Aus and it meant allot. QC coming back into the line up was great, definitely saw allot of calm in the back line and he worked well with Kerevi also another great addition to the backline.

What a game! That’s the rugby I like to see, all the boys (both teams) going for gold and being a close match where it could have gone to any of them. Brilliant!

At this rate l can see New Zealand winning the Rugby Championship, beating the current World Champions and regaining the number 1 world ranking.
I’ve been known to give the Wallabies a lot of crap but l think the Bok are giving themselves that title atm.
Well played Australia.

Hard AB.fan.
Great win by Australia against South Africa. To hang in there in a game that should have been closed by saffas highlights the never give attitude in competition that creates legendary games worth remembering once these players have retired etc. Quade along with all the Australian side played their part. Us fans are secondary to all that we like about good rugby such as Drama, skill, speed etc .Well done bringing this comp together in a world of ever changing realities. Can’t wait for next week’s reply.
